The APECS AP v3 is our BSI 3 Star Kitemark and Sold Secure Diamond Standard Euro Cylinder, offering maximum protection for entrance doors. Updated to meet the latest TS007-1:2024 requirements, it protects against snapping and freeze attacks, as well as drilling, plug extraction, picking and bumping. 

Designed to make high security simpler to specify and install, AP v3 is now non-handed, allowing the Key/Key cylinder to be fitted in either orientation. Its redesigned, patent-pending anti-snap mechanism protects the remaining cylinder following an attack, helping prevent further external manipulation while keeping the lock operable from inside. 

The new generation also introduces greater sizing flexibility, with cylinders available from 32/32mm, alongside a completely redesigned modular extension system for specialist configurations. AP v3 remains Tedee compatible and is available in Key/Key and Thumbturn variants. 

Every AP v3 cylinder is supplied with 3 new all-metal keys, manufactured from nickel-coated brass and using APECS' established dimple and slider hybrid key profile.
