SKS, formally Simonds Key Services, was first established back in 1972. During the late 1970's the company started wholesaling keys from their locksmiths premises in Harrow and by 1984 the wholesale side of the business had grown massively making it necessary to separate it from the retail business. It was at this time that the SKS partnership with JMA was finalised. SKS are the sole importers of JMA key blanks into the UK, with over 1.5 million blanks being produced every day in the factory in Spain.
SKS and JMA have become household names over the past 40 years and as such, APECS was delighted to be able to partner with them to sell our products to the UK market.

BS3621:2007 certified 5-lever deadlock. The APECS LX5 has modified the traditional 5-lever deadlock with a unique springless lever mechanism. Offering a high level of security from sawing and drilling with a 20mm solid brass deadbolt and hardened steel plates, the LX5 is an insurance improved upgrade for existing 5-lever deadlocks.
