BC Cylinder Update – Sacrificial Cuts

We’re delighted to announce a huge upgrade to the APECS BC Euro Cylinder with the addition of sacrificial cuts on both sides of the cylinder.

This new upgrade, along with the recent additions of Anti-Pick and Anti-Drill pins means that you will be hard pushed to find a better basic euro cylinder on the UK market. The APECS BC Euro Cylinder was already an extremely popular standard cylinder due to its high build quality and reliability and we have now pushed the cylinder on to the next level with the addition of sacrificial cuts, anti-pick and anti-drill pins.

The new sacrificial cuts mean that if a potential thief tries to put pressure on the cylinder to snap it, the lock will snap at the sacrificial cut, ensuring that the internal mechanism remains intact.

The APECS BC open profile euro cylinder is suitable for any euro profile lock and will fit uPVC, timber and other entrance doors. With brass differ and driver pins as well as a single row of 6 pins, the APECS BC open profile cylinder offers high quality security and great value for money. Sacrificial cuts can now be found on either side of the cylinder on key/key models, or on the external side on key/turn models, adding protection from lock snapping.
