National Locksmith Awards 2019

We are honoured and delighted to announce that APECS has been shortlisted in two categories in the final of the National Locksmith Awards 2019. We have been shortlisted in both the Hardware Company of the Year and Product of the Year categories.

We'd like to thank everyone who has taken the time to nominate us so far and we are up against some really great companies in both categories.

After finishing as runners up in the Best Hardware Company category at the National Fenestration Awards 2019, we'd love to go one better this time and win at the National Locksmith Awards!

Our BSI 3* Kitemark, Sold Secure Diamond Grade AP Eurocylinder has been shortlisted in the Product of the Year category. The AP cylinder safeguards from all forced methods of attack ranging from snapping, drilling, plug-extraction, picking and bumping.

The APECS AP cylinder is specifically designed to protect from unauthorised access by burglars. The AP cylinder is engineered with a unique sacrificial point, which when tampered with externally sets an interlocking cam mechanism into action, preventing any further damage to the internal parts of the cylinder, whilst still keeping the lock operable from the inside.
