Product of the Month – DC204 Door Closer

As we find ourselves in the midst of a heatwave, it’s time for our August Product of the Month. This time around, we’re focusing on the DC204 Overhead Door Closer.  

The APECS DC204 is a compact fixed power, fire resistant, overhead door closer, which is suited to most common aluminium, timber or hollow metal doors and frames. The DC204 has been in-house fire resistance tested for at least 60 minutes, showcasing the strength of this product. The main body of the DC204 is made of steel, with the hold open arm being made from Hardened Steel.

Not only is the DC204 Door Closer fire resistant, it has also passed 240 hours of NSS corrosion testing and can operate in temperatures of between -30 to +60 °C.

The DC204 has been built to last and exhibits all of the characteristics of performance, durability and quality that specifiers have come to expect from APECS products. The operational life of the DC204 has been tested to above and beyond 500,000 cycles.

As a standard, the DC204 Door Closer comes with a screwthread armset for straightforward information.
